Executive Leadership

Thomas Mohr

A 30-year plus veteran of the receivables management industry, Tom cut his teeth in collections by working for one of the nation’s top 10 bank holding companies, Manufacturers & Traders Trust Company. He continued his career by accepting a position with a leading collection agency that was acquired by NCO in the mid-nineties. Since then, his focus has been on the technology side of collections having worked for both Columbia Ultimate and Latitude.

Tom has worked in receivables management technology for almost his entire career and his unique perspective offers insights into business operations and helps identify ways to unlock financial potential. Tom leads the Beam Team with the sincerest ambition to build software that solves problems for the ARM industry.

When he’s not thinking about software, Tom is thinking about fishing or teaching karate, two of his other passions.

David Spahn

Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Fairfield University.  He is responsible for all of the company’s financial functions including accounting, treasury, and corporate finance. Dave also leads Beam’s human resources activities. His career spans more than 25 years and includes financial management, business leadership, and corporate accounting. 

Before joining Beam in January 2015, Dave served as the Finance Director for the not-for-profit organization Art Center Sarasota. He has also served as Finance Manager for the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County and has over 18 years of experience in a number of positions at International Paper.

Outside of the office Dave finds pleasure in traveling and photography.

Tom Noble

Tom Noble has been in the ARM industry since 1999, having worked previously for a debt buyer before coming to Beam in 2015. He has substantial knowledge in the areas of debt buying, collections, outsourcing, legal, accounting, the structure of Beam’s database, and the functionality and operation of the software. His goal is to help Beam’s clients to be successful in their implementation of the software. 

Tom enjoys a wide variety of sports; he played amateur volleyball in the past.

Product Development and Services Team

Anvesh Amaravadi

As an engineer, Anvesh has over 12 years of experience developing software in the IT field. He has worked on development projects that span multiple verticals including asset management, accounts receivable, service desk management, purchase management, marketing, and advertising. Anvesh holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, is a Microsoft certified Technology Specialist, and is proficient in numerous technologies used to create solutions for the ARM industry. He leads the development team’s focus on building a secure and sophisticated environment that not only facilitates collection efforts but also streamlines the way debt buyers, credit issuers, and agencies exchange data with one another.

Anvesh is a history buff, enjoys sports, and likes to play volleyball in his leisure time.

Scott Wortmann

Scott began his career in customer relationship management at an estate planning law firm in the Chicago area.  For over 15 years, he managed high net worth clients for First Chicago Bank, one of the largest banking corporations in the city. Scott relocated to southwest Florida with his family where he transitioned into the technology sector, heading client acquisition and training for a mobile software application development company in the fast-growing real estate industry.  Scott moved into the ARM space with a position at a large debt buying firm, Oliphant Financial, in 2008.  For the past six years, he has been responsible for corporate training, client implementation, overseeing product support and managing the Beam Customer Success Team.

Scott enjoys kayaking, iaido, and reading American history. He also donates much of his time and talent to his favorite local charity, Hope4Communities.
